As well as advising clients, volunteers support many other areas of our charity including our IT services, reception and administrative functions, social policy and information, HR and finance functions and repairs, maintenance and gardening! We also recruit from time to time for Board members (trustees).

Please see our current non-advisory volunteer opportunities below.  If you do not see anything appropriate for you, you could contact the Volunteer Centre Edinburgh for other opportunities (www.volunteeredinburgh.org.uk ).   We will advertise new opportunities within Citizens Advice Edinburgh here and sometimes also with the Volunteer Centre so do check regularly.

We held a successful Open Day at our bureau in Leith in March 2013 from 10am – 2pm.  The Open Day was an opportunity for people to meet some of the staff and volunteers and learn more about our work.

Our next Open Day will be in autumn 2013.  Do come along whether you are interested in an advisory or non-advisory role.
