We Are a Charity – Help Us Make a Difference
Citizens Advice Edinburgh is a registered charity and we rely on grants and donations to continue helping to solve problems and transform lives.
Our volunteers give over 72,000 hours of unpaid service each year and we make no charge for our services.
We currently receive 40% of our core funding from the City of Edinburgh Council. For the other 60% of funding we are reliant on support from businesses, trusts, foundations and the general public.
Without your help we cannot provide the advice and assistance our clients desperately need.
All donations – of any size – make a real difference.
For examples of how our work changes lives please read our Case Studies.
How Your Donation Will be Used
Your donation will be used to support our frontline advice services and volunteer advisers in providing help and support. This includes running our bureaux and maintaining our support of clients at court, tribunals and in various appeals. Other costs we have to meet include our IT and phone systems, postage and stationary costs, heating, lighting and volunteer training.
You can help us by:
- Making a single donation
- Making a regular donation by Standing Order
